We are offering these destinations for our personal and escorted guided tours during the 2013 travel and tour season in France.

Your travel party (family friends etc) have a choice of the following destinations in France. 

Prices quoted are in US dollars and are for 1 person per day. They include pick up from your hotel, personal English speaking escort and chauffeur, who will also be your tour guide, liquid refreshments all day, fuel, tolls, insurance, and taxes.

On these destinations within France we can provide a fully chaffeured and escorted tour package, that can be for a single day or for a week. Plan your itinerary and contact us for your travel needs, whilst in France. Our personal tour guides will do the rest.

Brittany and Normandy - With the aid of your own personal tour guide, Visit the World War 2 beaches in Normandy, Mont St Michel, the standing stones in Carnac, and the Pink Granite Coast nr Morlaix, in Brittany.

Burgundy and the Loire Valley - Travel through the world famous vineyards of France with your own personal tour guide. Stop for a wine tasting. Explore the chateaux and fortresses of the Loire Valley and Burgundy, whilst enjoying the spectacular countryside.

Megalith Tours In Brittany - North Western France, and Brittany, in particular has the greatest concentration of megalithic sites, such as tumuli, standing stones, burial chambers stone circles and alignments, in the world. Our personal tour guides would love to help you explore some of the great sites such as Carnac, St Just, and Barnenez. Immerse yourself in this incredible 7000 yr old culture.

Chateau Tours of France - France is known for its beautiful and elegant chateaux. With us you will be able to visit any of this countrys great stately homes. Our personal guides will escort you to the chateau of Chenonceau, Chateau Chambord, Loches and Blois, in the Loire Valley,Josselin, Fougeres and Suscinio in Brittany, or even Chateauneuf-en-Auxois and the Chateau of Commarin in Burgundy. You tell us where and we'll make it happen.

Wine Tours In Burgundy - Do you have a 'nose' ?. Whether you know, love and adore wine, or just want to sample some of the worlds greatest wines, we can show you how. Burgundy is rich wine country. The Cotes De Nuits, The Cotes De Beaune, Beaujolais, and Chablis are some of the wine regions that we'll take you to. We will arrange free wine tastings with some of the worlds greatest wine producers (they arent always the big names that you may be familiar with !). You may even wish to have some shipped home to you. Join us...we'll show you how.

We have just added (due to popular demand) England as a personal escort destination.

Bath and Somerset - Be personally escorted and chauffeur driven through the heart of England. Bath is an ancient Roman Spa City and it lies very close to the Cotswolds and Shakespeare country. The countryside is marvellous and the people all speak fluent English...what could be better :-)

Returning Home ~ A Great Adventure Several months after starting out on our epic and life changing trip, we found ourselves once again in a cross channel ferry port awaiting embarkation... this time back to England. Our Afrique sign (used for 'thumbing' lifts as hitchhikers) was discarded long ago, because it had taken us across Europe into North Africa. A piece of cardboard that we had used to get us home...a simple Union flag painted onto it... had gotten us back to Le Havre. Much wiser and somehow, many years older, we patted each other on the back as we boarded for the crossing. We got into Portsmouth Harbour, very late at night, but being the hardened travellers that we had become, we were not phased by the prospect of sleeping in a bus shelter or perhaps in one of the fortress towers that encompass part of the town....all was good... we had after all just arrived home. We were both euphoric ! the feeling of accomplishment was immense, and I know that we had both cast off

2012 is already heating up. We have several great tours lined up with our private clients. Afoot In France will be visiting Mont St Michel in Normandy, the ww2 D-Day Beaches, as well as Carnac in Brittany and the Pink Granite Coast.
